Hi everyone! This site is meant to be fun. Look at all the other hotel/guest house websites and you will see why. Imagination....what's that?? All the guest-houses we ever stayed in are like a wet week! We think you should enjoy being here!!

So, you want to stay in Minehead....? Great. There is no nicer place in all the world. It's got everything. Whether it's a sandy beach, our own Safari off-road trips, the steam railway, Exmoor, golf, riding, Butlins, or Spring Harvest Christian meetings...it's all here. Just need to find the right place to stay.....

We have just found it!! So we bought it...!!  (Like the 'Remington' bloke)...

We toyed with the idea of selling up and sailing off into the sunset, But what could be nicer than being here to meet all our lovely guests. It  is a pleasant lifestyle or we would not do it. After four years, I think we would do it again

..and now we are in a quandary whether to theme it to suit our enthusiasm for steam, or our first love which is our Christian Faith. Hence "Bethany Junction" B&B Guest House, like this website, is a place to be curious, to relax, and to find a clearing-house of information on topics of local interest........and to stay a while.
   We don't mind railwaymens' o
veralls, bikers gear, walking boots or beach gear. (You can keep them safe in our laundry).

It's a lovely house close to everything, and it's yours for as long as you care to stay.

Richard is a church organist lay-minister, career sailor running his own restaurant cruiser on the River Weaver , and CM&EE railwayman; into books, music,  the country, DIY.....Anything God made is OK by me, especially the little blue-eyed blonde depicted below!!"

Pat is a mum of four, qualified cook, who actually did a B&B on the Isle of Man before teaching special needs children. She is now a TeamLeader at Tesco in Minehead.

"Bethany" is a No Smoking house

Our aim is to offer good and plentiful food, and 5 clean comfortable rooms for singles, couples and families, staying for a week of just passing through.
  • Our guests are our friends who will always be glad to return. And they do, too.
  • "Bethany" is all you would expect from a three-diamonds (four diamonds applied for) Christian-run Hotel Guest House in a smart town like Minehead..............
  • Open all year
  • You should inspect the house before staying...it's lovely. Newly decorated.
  • Everyone gets completely clean bedding and large towels, with no short-cuts
  • Duvet beds and allergy free pillows
  • Own free private Parking on front of house.
  • Central heating
  • Own tea/coffee & fruit/herbal tea making in rooms stocked up daily
  • Vegetarian and special diets if you tell us beforehand.
  • Fridge coolers, remote-control TV, clock/radio and hairdryer in all rooms
  • Family Rooms have En-suite toilet, basin, shower or bath

We are quite determined that you not find better hospitality, so will want to return. Our prices are a bit on the low side!!  and we don't leg them up in mid summer to hit young families, like all the other places hereabouts (Yes, Missus Landlady, if the cap fits!!)!!!

0only for our guests we offer a low price

To complete your stay here, Richard is a bit of a Safari-dude in his 4-wheel-drive Estate Car. He will, for a triflingly small fee, take you out for a few hours on the moors, down tracks, through forests, and far away. The route can suit your interests, wherever you fancy, or  one of our set 'explorations'

CLICK PICTURE to persue this..

Teletubbies are really welcome

Those Summer evenings to relax

Pat likes her kitchen (so do we...)

One minute from Town Centre

Was there ever such a station??? Must have been....look 'ere

Warning

Richard is a hoarder, which means the house is adorned with railway bits, to remind you of a bygone age, and old photos of steam trains from his youth!! (A few years ago)....However, bedrooms are train-free zones. (at the moment). He would like to preserve a church organ, but Pat will NOT EVER go for that!!
